Jacob Yerex
Jacob Yerex is a Toronto based artist. He has been painting and sculpting professionally for over 20 years. At the age of 17 he attended OCAD and continued his education at the University of Guelph. Jacob is also a muralist and scenic artist with many works in prominent Canadian museums and institutions. His recent paintings are focused on the narrative of urban life. These paintings are an investigation of how we see the city. Jacob's paintings play with the threshold between narrative illustration and abstraction.
