Sue Tupy
Sue was born in Collingwood in 1961. She
fell in love with the art of sewing when she was just a young girl,
producing clothing for herself and her friends. Then from the age of
ten, she worked alongside her father in the pottery manufacturing industry.
Sue attended Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. Taking fashion, business
and design arts. Sue's work varies from landscapes, to functional coat
hangers of sorts, to whatever pops into her head next. Her interest
in mediums vary from clay to cloth to wood and paint. In the true sense
of the definition, Sue's art work is claimed to be faux naive. Sue now
lives in Clarksburg with her husband, two children, and niece. Her art
is shown and sold in various home decor shops and galleries in the Collingwood-Thornbury
area, as well as the greater Toronto area. Her works have been shown
in magazines and on various film sets.
