Marleen Provençal
Self-taught artist, Marleen Provençal, was born in Sherbrook in 1961. She now lives and works in Quebec city, dedicating herself to painting on a full-time basis. She counts a dozen solo and collective expositions to her accomplishments. Her works are part of numerous private collections in the United States, France and Canada and also appear on several book covers published in Quebec. The Ottawa Galerie d'art Jean-Claude Bergeron recently selected Marleen's work, along with the work of several renowned artists, for the Biennial Art and Paper VII.
