Maria Pezzano

Maria Pezzano’s use of printmaking and painting has gained her great recognition both locally and regionally. Her fascination with botanicals, combined with repetition of patterns, and colours create a style uniquely her own.  These process pieces, incorporate block printing, acrylic paint and mediums, washi and other papers which in turn allows Maria’s work to reveal elements of transparency and depth while holding true to her lighthearted style.

Maria enjoys working in her studio, in downtown Guelph, overlooking the Speed River.
