Michael MinthornMichael Minthorn is a landscape artist who resides in Napanee, Ontario. He paints mainly landscapes of Canada, New York State, Florida, and the coastal southeast. Michael’s primary objective in his painting is simply to convey to the viewer the beauty of our environment and to evoke the emotional responses that we all, as humans, have when we see the play of light and shadow across trees, lakes and fields. As far as technique, he is concerned with style as opposed to the whims of fashion and ignore "fads" and "trends" in art. He believes wholeheartedly that "a thing of beauty is a joy forever."
