In 2007, Pam Lobb graduated from the University of Guelph with a B.A. In Fine Art. Now living in Toronto, she works in her home studio and rents at Open Studio. She finds inspiration in the internal imagery of flora and fauna, combining the two in their realistic and abstract forms to create whimsical scenes. Her technique is influenced by her studies at university in sculpture and printmaking, as well as experience assisting printmaker Tammy Ratcliff. This year she has been awarded as honourable mention at the Open Juried Show at Beaux-Arts Brampton, as well as a printmaking honourable mention at the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Outside of Pam's independent work she is also part of the printmaking collaboration Rabbit of Fish, with Guelph artist Lydia Nieuwenkamp.
