Elsha Leventis

Working playfully and expressively in oils and mediums on large sheets of Mylar, Dutch-born Toronto artist Elsha Leventis attempts to capture the effects of light on the organic and intricate landscape of the iris. A graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design, where she specialized in Drawing and Painting, she is also a psychotherapist who recently completed her training in art therapy at the Toronto Art Therapy Institute. Her work has been accepted into many juried shows, including the Toronto Outdoor Art Show, and is part of private collections in Canada, the United States, and Europe.
