Marie-Élaine Lalonde
As a multidisciplinary artist, Marie-Elaine Lalonde is a recipient of a Bachelor’s degree in Visual and Media Arts which she obtained at UQAM (Universite du Quebec a Montreal). Her work focuses on the notion of landscape through the hybridization process between digital work and matter. More specifically, by using a technique of multi-layering which allows space to be transformed into a temporal fragmentation she is able to create pieces where time and stillness come together to end up contracted, suspended and timeless.
