Linda Henningson
After living in a trapper’s cabin in the Yukon Territory then uprooting to New York City to work as an art educator with the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Linda Henningson decided to pursue her dream of a full-time painting practice. Returning to school, she received her BFA (Honors) from Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC, where she was awarded the Canada Millennium Award of Excellence in 2004. Along with solo and group shows in Vancouver, she has exhibited at the Toronto International Art Fair and The Affordable Art Fair in New York City. The adventure continues on Texada Island, BC, where she grows a big garden and is committed to a full-time painting practice.
