Katelyn Di Giulio is a Toronto based artist. Her work is inspired by and plays with 'the feminine' and craft work, pop culture and film, fabrics and fashion, vintage and kitsch. Working in mixed-media, her art is highly process-based, and the pieces mostly series-oriented. She relies on both happenstance and nostalgia to create these playful woks, which incorporate collage, photography, fiber and sculptural elements. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Mount Allison University in New Brunswick, and Toronto School of Art's Independent Studio Program.
