Jim Bourke
Jim Bourke is a Toronto based artist. He has studied drawing and painting at York University, graduated from the Ontario College of Art and Design and more recently completed the computer animation course at Sheridan College. He has been an exhibit designer at the Art Gallery of Ontario for the past twelve years. He works primarily with encaustic on canvas and he has begun to incorporate photo silkscreen on the encaustic surface.His work has been included in numerous juried and group exhibitions throughout Ontario. His paintings can be found in various private and corporate collections.
