Monika Aebischer
Monika Aebischer studied fibre and needle arts in her native Switzerland before coming to Toronto, Canada in 1987 where she has concentrated on furthering her artistic education through the Toronto Board of Education, workshops with local and international artists and as a student at the Ontario College of Art and Design. In 1999 she graduated from OCAD as an honours student and was awarded the Governor General's Medal and the Ontario College of Art and Design Medal. She currently lives and works in Toronto and her work can be found in various private collections here and internationally.
