Roz Hermant
Roz Hermant was born and raised in Toronto. After finishing high school, she migrated to the west and attended school in Vancouver. Spending a few years at UBC and then embarking on a traveling expedition to South and Central America fueled her desire to make photographs and she subsequently attended and graduated from Emily Carr Institute. Her travels have always influenced her art practice and she has no plans of slowing down. Upon completion of school in Vancouver she returned to her native Toronto to continue her art practice. She now calls Peterborough home where she lives with her husband and draws new inspiration from the surrounding landscape.
