Lori Mirabelli

Originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Canada, Lori Mirabelli is an accomplished abstract painter with a passion for creating vibrant and expressive works of art. While studying psychology at Laurentian University, Mirabelli pursued her love of art in her spare time, gradually honing her skills and developing her unique artistic voice.

For over two decades, Mirabelli worked in the Child Welfare field, balancing her full-time career with her artistic pursuits. In 2009, she made the decision to relocate to Toronto, Canada to focus more seriously on her art career. After years of hard work and dedication, Mirabelli decided to pursue her passion full-time in 2020, and recently moved to Almonte, a picturesque rural community near Ottawa, Ontario. Her studio is located in a charming log house that dates back to the mid-1800s, providing her with a tranquil and inspiring environment to create her art.

Over the years, Mirabelli has exhibited her art in numerous local exhibitions and abroad, New York, LA, London, UK, & Denmark. Her art has also been featured on the hit television series MadMen, and she served as the live painter for the remake of the musical "Sunday in the Park with George." Most recently, she completed a stunning public art installation, an 18x13 ft painting for 15 Brunel Court at The Gallery Condominiums in City Place, Toronto, Canada.

Mirabelli's works are highly sought-after, and she is represented by several galleries across Canada, as well as internationally by Det er Kunsten in Denmark and Signet Contemporary Art in London, England. Her art continues to captivate audiences and inspire fellow artists, as she pushes the boundaries of abstract expressionism and creates works that are both visually stunning and deeply meaningful.
